Suryan Fm is the first private radio station in tamilnadu with Kalanidhi Maran as its promoter.Now it has spread to 7 regions in tamilnadu and nearly 41 other regions all over india over the brand name Red FM.
It was in AUgust 2009 that Suryan Fm and Red Fm was merged under the SUN Network group with Kalanadhi marn acquiring nearly 49% shares in it and after that there has been no turning back for the two.They have emerged the toppers in the group leaving the competition miles behind.
The FM station has digitized the songs to eliminate the disturbances and with state of the art transmitters have a good area of coverage with a radius of 120km from the core area of signal distibution.
